Please help! I just got a 6 month old german shepherd. She is home alone while I am at work in a Patio area. What does someone/anyone reccommend to be the area where she should go to the bathroom? Just pads, patch of grass? Im so not sure of how to do this. Before work & after work I will be walking her but during the day is where I am confused on how to do this? I'd appreciate your suggestions!

I recommend you use the grass. It will be more natural and easier for your dog to learn on.

With my german shepherd all we used was a crate, put her in there, during the day, while you're at work. She needs to go out often, but when she's in her crate she will hold it.
