Default BIG Problem with beagle puppy

Hello everyone,
4 days ago i was given by a friend a beautiful 70 days old beagle. The puppy seems very clever and very friendly. However every time i leave it by itself it starts howling until i return back. My neighbor told me that during the 10 hours i am away at work the puppy don't stop barking even for 10 minutes!!!! I assume that separation anxiety towards me or its siblings is the case but all its brothers and sisters are given to other families and they don't have the same problem. I play with it at least 2 hours a day outdoors but when it looses me from its eyesight it starts barking like crazy. I have to carry it with me even in the bathroom. And of course is the first dog to sleep in my bedroom. For obvious reasons.
Please help, I don't know what to do.
PS: Sorry for my poor English, it' not my native language

I have the same problem with my beagle puppy. Everytime we leave she will cry and whine. She will also do this when I am sleeping during the day and she is in her crate in the other room. I bought an ultrasonic collar for her and it made it even worse. She hates that thing but it may work for you since your puppy is a little older.

Try starting out with giving her her own space, maybe a bed or a blanket that will be special for her. A space that she will be comfortable, where you will let her eat her meal beside it. Then give her a toy that she will play on it. A special place for her that will make her comfortable even when you are gone. This may be quite difficult at first but it will get better as she gets the hang of it.

Owned and love the Beagles. They are hounds and hounds do bark and are hyper. You are gone long hours it seems? I was the same way. The only thing that would work for me was a Static collar, Sportdog SBC-10R in fact. You may want to try something else like the Sportdog SBC-18 or SBC-6 Bark Collar. Dogtra also makes a great collar that is 220V if needed YS300 Yapper stopper. All are very safe and effective.
