Question New to Forum. Lots of questions

Hi!
I am glad that I found this site. My family, consisting of myself, hubby, 7 yr old and 2 yr old, just adopted a 3 yr old Old English Sheep Dog one wk ago. It is a girl.
She came from a home that had just 2 people that were married for over 30 yrs and divorcing. She has been in an apt in a big city for a few mths. She has been around the original owners grandchildren that are the same age as my children but I don't know how much. She has had some obedience training because she knows how to sit, lay down, shake a paw. The owners really built us up. Even told us she was allowed in the palitive care unit of the hospital, was obedient, around kids etc etc I feel as though we have been 'snowed' abit to be honest with you.

Our problem is that this dog has been very spoiled and played with quite roughly. She is used to jumping when the arms go up. She is used to having her own way. She is now in the country with us, but we still have her on the leash til she knows us and won't get lost. She is very excited abouIt being outside and we hope that she will be able to go off leash very soon. Today, she snapped at me twice. I told her to sit before we went outside and she snapped at my fingers. Then, when she was outside and I was adjusting her leash, she snapped as well. I have been very firm and said "no" while looking at her. I am getting more concerned about her around my 2 yr old. What do we do??? She is pretty good inside so far-no concerns until today really. But I feel as though she is changing. Never snapped before at us etc. Yes, she jumps insanely as we come in the door so will try the suggestions mentioned. I guess I am frustrated and expected this dog to fit into our lifestyle right away (stupid I know). Any suggestions??

Thankyou,
