stray pitbull turned out to be an angel!!!

Hey everyone Im a bartender from buff,Ny whos bf brought home a stray pit....Now I'll admit at first I was nervous about a stray period let alone a pit bull. Now I'm a firm believer in tis all how you raise your animal, I don't care if it's a lab it can still be nasty if thats how it was brought up. So her being a stray we had no background BABY EVER!!!!!. Like my BF says she wouldn't crush a grape.You can take the bone from her mouth without a peep. Her only downfall SHE CANT WALK. She sucks on a leash. We've had since June and from the vet we know she is about a year old. She is a love bug, she's a beast when she's on a leash alls she does is PULL!!! FOrget it if she sees a squirel,lol....ANY advice would be GREATLY appreciatted
