My Dog peed on my side of the bed.

My husband and I have a female american bulldog (about 10-12months old) that only chews on my things and for the first time peed on my side of the bed. Any ideas?

Sometimes the reason why they do that is to make a mark. She might be trying to own that space. Let's hope she is not feeling like a top dog in your family. Dogs are pack animals and they see every member of the household as having ranks. Just make sure she sees you as being the top dog or the 'alpha'. An obedience training will do the trick...Make sure also to remove completely the odor of urine from the spot where she peed to prevent same thing happening again. Best of luck!

Make sure you potty train her before you let her sleep beside you in your room otherwise, you may wake up one morning really stinky. In the meantime, try not giving her much water before bedtime so she won't have anything to wet.
