does anyone know how to play fetch with two dogs at the same time? Every time I try they only get one of the balls I throw and the other dog never has a chance to play. I really dislike not being able to play with them together.
p.s. does anyone know of any other games that owners can play with both of thier dogs at the same time? |

You can play that game still with you 2 dogs...Just trow the balls in different directions so that they will go in different direction to get the ball no conflict...IMO...

Throwing them in different directions doesn't always work, especially if you have one dog that tends to follow the other. I have two dogs and one is much bigger and faster than the other and the little one tends to follow the big one around, so if I throw two balls in two directions, the little dog just goes in whatever direction the big dog goes in. So far I've found that I can throw a ball for one dog and tell the other to stay then, while the first is halfway on her way to getting the ball, I can throw the other ball for the one that I told to stay. It's a good way to teach impulse control, too. Eventually I'm hoping to be able to just throw both balls and have them each go after a different one, but for now this method is working pretty well. It only works if your dogs understand basic commands, though.
