A few of the dogs in my care seem to have boundless energy!

One is a teenage cattle dog who has a ball fixation. He loves his red Kong ball and will chase it all day long if he could!

Another is a black labrador and staffy "mates" ... and esp. the black lab seems to have boundless energy even after spending 2 hours at a local off leash dog park

It's just the dogs being dogs and enjoying life/the moment.

some dogs do seem to have this sort of boundless energy - my dog's a bit different though, she's a runt and added to that, I think she may be inbred. Anyway... She does play fetch and she loves it, but she tires easy. After about 10 gos, she'd rather go sit on my lap and look at the other dogs play around. I think that a dog's energy can be affected by several factors and dogs with lots of energy need to have some avenue to help them get that energy out - otherwise they'd end up chewing stuff or doing other things associated with boredom.
