congestion??

I have an American Bulldog that is just about 2 months old. We got her about 2 weeks ago and since we have had her she sounds like she has a lot of congestion at times, and it almost sounds like she has a furball stuck in her throat. She doesn't seem to bothered by it, but it sounds awful. I took her to a vet and he just said she will be fine in a few days. It has gotten a little better but not much. We are going to take her to another vet shortly, but until I can get her there, has anyone heard of this or ran across the same problem?
