Default S.O.S rescued shiba inu BITES when playing!!

hello, my name is hayley and resently took possesion and made friends with a Shiba Inu mix named Isis. She is a very loving and smart dog whoo is almost 2 years old, but unfortunitly she has been threw several homes and shows signs of abuse! on that note, she has some obedience issues such as agressive playing, she gets really excited and starts Nipping and biting which actually lead to her biting my 2 year old son on the cheek leaving 8 teeth mark on both the top and bottom of his cheek 16 total! Thankfully my son is very forgiving and holds no grudge or fear and she thankfully did not break the skin! I am remaining patient with her and i really would like to be able to make her a permenent member of the family but i really need to know how i can fix this as it is a saftey issue for everyone. How do i teach a dog her age who has been threw alot how to keep her teeth in her mouth when playing not on my kids!! otherwise she is very submisive and gentle wont touch your fingers when taking even the smallest treat from you.
