my weimaraner's getting aggressive 2my cat

my 2yo weimaraner we've had since Christmas is getting increasingly aggressive (playfully) towards my cat. Cleo is declawed, and hisses, bats at Pearl, but she's more and more excitable around the cat. Any ideas? Does
playing tug-of-war increase aggressiveness in big dogs? help, please!

Yes, tug-of-war is not a good game. Your dog might think biting is acceptable.

thanks. lately, when she's all excited about the cat and in her face, I make Pearl lay down and be quiet for awhile. If she goes back after Cleo, I make her lay down again. If she does it the third time, I put her out of the room.
