Default Re: Biting visitors...

I would suggest that when people come over, you have them on leash. Keep them a safe distance from the visitor. When the person enters the room, you tell them to sit. If they obey, give them a treat...if they bark tell them to be quiet..if they listen..they get a treat... and if they dont listen..leave the room. Let them calm down and reintroduce the person...but from a distance.

Do this whenever someone comes over and never have the person approach the dogs. You bring the dog a few feet closer to the person. If they stay calm..give them a treat. If they bark..return to your previous spot and tell them to be quiet. ...if they listen ..give them a treat. If not...go to the other room. Eventually you are gonna want to be able to sit right next to the person without the dog reacting in a aggressive way. I also would suggest doing this one dog at a time so its easier to manage and they dont feed off eachother.

Hope that helps.

P. S if someone drops by unexpected I would put them in a seperate room with the door closed until it is under control.
