Akitas are members of the Japanese Spitz class. If you would like to see a picture and training infos, there's a useful page about different dog breeds on the homepage of this website. Try to check them.

Akita resemble Australian Shepherds but if you get to know it and learn their basic qualities, they are far from each other.

There are lots of Akita dogs in Japan. You can also read about them here.
